Who We Are

Our mission is to demystify the process of career development, and empower the next generation of Nigerian professionals to anticipate and respond to the existing needs of their communities.

GWN Summer 2016 Campaign

We just wrapped up the GWN Summer 2016 Field Experience program. The program was a huge success with even more career-exploration sessions, seminars and workshops than the year before. We will be updating the site in the upcoming weeks with details and a summary of the event.

Student Mentorship Program

Our Programs

Grow with Nigeria's flagship event is the Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) field experience program that showcases the diversity of careers in the STEM field through workshops and mentoring sessions.

I was impressed by GWN's ability to execute a technical and practical education program for one of the most disengaged demographics - students in high school. The program was able to impact practical knowledge, encouraging the students to pursue a university education in S.T.E.M.

Considering the unique challenges of logistics, publicity, technology, and human resource that continues to plague organization of programs in Nigeria, they were able to bring all stakeholders on board in good time and most importantly, got them to participate. That is commendable.

The highlight of the experience wasn't a single event for me. It was the ongoing interactions and relationships that were fostered between the students and volunteers. It created an environment that was conducive to learning.

The program convinced me that medicine as a career is not the way for me. I would rather go with technology i.e. Engineering precisely.
