During his collegiate career, Lapite served in many scholastic and professional leadership positions including Operations Director for SBSLC and Vice President for ISA. He served as a Social Media Assistant within the Division of Marketing and Communications at TAMU and the Black Former Student Network. Deborah Adeboyejo is a graduate of Babcock University (Economics ’13). Adeboyejo has over 7 years of leadership, management, and policy development experience, dating back to her appointment as the Speaker of the Lagos State Children’s Parliament, where she was actively involved in the enactment of two legislative bills. She continues to use her platform to effect communal change; working with several top government officials (including Gov. Raji Fashola of Lagos State) and local community members to develop initiatives that significantly impact the lives of Nigerians. Adeboyejo’s passion and devotion to the development of Nigerian Youth has earned her widespread recognition and awards including the prestigious Most Influential Graduating Female Award in Babcock University.

Moriam Animashaun is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. During her collegiate career, she served as the Vice President and President of the African Students Association(ASA) spearheading several programs and events aimed at connecting African Students at Texas A&M to their Roots. Animashaun plans to become a physician in the future and has recently accepted an admission offer from University of North Texas to pursue a Masters degree in Public Health (with a focus in Epidemiology and Biostatistics). Animashaun hopes to continue to provide Nigerian students with the highest quality of scholastic and cultural experiences and currently serves as the Director of the Scholars Initiative with Grow With Nigeria.

Ibukunoluwa(IBK) Eweje is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.Sc. Electrical Engineering ’14, Mathematics minor). During his time at Texas A&M, he was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and the Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society. He also served as the Finance Chair of the Texas A&M chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers(NSBE). He is now applying his Electrical Engineering degree to the Oil and Gas Industry.

Tolani Ayo-Vaughan is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B. Sc. Chemical Engineering ’13, Chemistry minor ‘13, Safety Engineering Certificate ‘13). During her college career, Tolani served in leadership positions in the African Students Association such as Vice President and Performance coordinating officer leading and coordinating events such as Miss Texas ASA Scholarship pageant. Tolani is currently working in the Oil and Gas industry as a Petroleum Engineer where she has also acquired her Lean Sigma Green Belt. She has a strong passion for mentoring and continually mentors high school and college students in their academic and career development.
